British Airways strikes: Everything passengers need to know


British Airways pilots are to strike on three days in September, with delays and cancellations threatening the travel plans of thousands. 

The airline has warned customers booked to fly on September 9, 10 or 27 that it is likely they will not be able to travel, and that they will be offered full refunds or an option to rebook to another date.

BA says that it is currently looking at its schedule and exploring options of drafting in aircraft and crew from other airlines, or flying larger planes to accommodate as many passengers as possible. There is a chance that the disruption on strike days could overflow to later services, causing additional delays.
